Services for Ransom today in Augusta
Homemaker Florence L. Ransom, 80, Augusta, died Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. today at Dunsford Funeral chapel, the Rev. Lyle Malcom officiating.
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Ransom was born Sept. 8, 1909 in Violet, Mo. to Carrie Darmon and Jessie Bays.
In 1924, she married Fred Bauer in Cliquot, Mo., and in 1975, she married Charles Ransom in Harrison, Ark. Both preceded her in death.
Survivors include Donald Bauer of Wichita; daughters, Edith Malcom of Augusta, Leona Feeney of Dover, Tenn.; brothers, Clarence Bays of Halfway, Mo., Richard Bays of Deepwater, Mo., Earshell Bays of Boliver, Mo.; sisters, Nellie Roberts of Boliver, Mo.; Effie Fraizer of Tucson, Ariz.; 24
grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a son, Clifford Bauer and daughters, Ruby J. Malcom and Mable Harrelson.

Agnes Martin dies at AMCI
Agnes Cartwright Martin, 89, Augusta, died Sunday, Feb. 11, at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Dunsford Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Robert Box officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born March 19, 1901 in Missouri to William Cartwright and Agnes Gardner Cartwright.
On Oct. 6, 1931, she married George Robert Martin. He preceded her in death in 1960.
Survivors include two sons, George of Augusta, and Jack of Oilton, Okla.; five grandchildren, Michael Martin, Eric Martin, Mary Martin Selvage, all of Augusta, Patrick Martin of Oil-ton, and Jackie Martin of Cushing, Okla; three great-grandchildren, Leann Selvage, Megan Martin and Madelyne Martin, all of Augusta.
She was also preceded in death by a grandchild.
Memorials to the First Baptist Church have been suggested.
Foster Falwell services Wednesday
Former Scholfield Brothers car salesman Foster Falwell, 86, Augusta, died Monday, Feb. 12, at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Robert Box officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born July 12, 1903 in Altoona to Susan Dura Hooper and Clarence Maywood Falwell.
He married La Vergne Franks.
Survivors include his wife; daughters Betty Diner of Shawnee Mission and Mary Ann
Carpenter of Augusta; brother, Roy of Augusta; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were two sisters, Helen and Edith.
There will be no viewing until the service Wednesday.
Falwell has been a baptist.
