Claude Rogers died Thursday in Wichita

Claude Neil Rogers, 54, died Thursday, July 19, in Wichita. He was a longtime employee of Ludeman Insulation Co.
Funeral services are pending at the Culbertson-Smith Funeral; Home in Wichita.
He is the son of the late Floyd C. Rogers and Marjorie Rogers of Augusta.
He was bom Jan. 18, 1936. Rogers is survived by his wife Judy; sons Rick of Sharon Springs and Brady of Longton; a step-son, Rod High of Clearwater; daughters Darla and Dana Rogers, both of Wichita; stepdaughter Kim Cooper of Wichita; a brother, Charles Rogers of Wichita, sisters Peggy Rich, Patricia Rich and Sally Elmore, allof Ashland and Barbara Dewey of Cimmaron; and 10 grandchildren.

Maggie J. Roads services Saturday
Maggie Jeannette Roads, 98, Wichita, died Thursday, July 19, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Elmwood Cemetery, the Rev. Ron Solan officiating.
Roads was born Sept. 22, 1891 in Tarkio, Mo. to Sarah Munsigne and Slyvestor Rogers.
On March 3, 1913, she married Edward Eugene Roads in Arapho, Okla.
Survivors include son, Alvin, of Garden City; daughter, Sylvia Sanger, Wichita; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Fair-view Christian Church and had been a homemaker.
A memorial has been established with the Fairview Christian Church, 1650 Fairview, Wichita, Kan. 67203.
Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eunice Bogle funeral Tuesday
Homemaker Eunice Bogle, 66, Eureka, aunt of Lynda McDermott of Augusta, died Saturday morning at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka.
Her funeral service will be 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the Campbell Funeral Home chapel in Eureka and burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Gilbert Daniel of the Christian & Congregational Church in Eureka will officiate.
Mrs. Bogle was bom Nov. 11, 1923 in Eureka as a daughter of Leonard S. and Nettie May Mitchell Mahar. Her father survives.
She was a graduate of Eureka High School and a lifetime resident of Greenwood County.
On March 17, 1944, she married Bill Bogle in a ceremony at Eureka. He survives.
In addition to her father and husband, she leaves a son, Clark, and a daughter, Kay Soule, both of Eureka; two brothers, David Mahar of Wamego, and Arthur Mahar of Waverly; a sister, Mary Jane Moore of Eureka; eight grandchildren, and eight greatgrandchildren.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.

Marguerite Moter services Wednesday

Marguerite Moter, 69, Newton, died Monday, July 23, at Friendly Acres in Newton.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in El Dorado.
Moter was born March 8, 1921, to Vivian Inez Moreland and Roy Harold Learned.
On March 15, 1947, she married William A. Moter in Wellington. He preceded her in death in 1972.
Survivors include a son, William H. of Augusta; a daughter, Linda Williams of Augusta; and a granddaughter, Nicole Williams of Wichita.
Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ernest Orville Jackson services Monday
Retired Beech Aircraft worker Ernest Orville Jackson, 77, Augusta, died today at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital, El Dorado.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Dunsford Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Latham to Lillie Belle Quick and George Nelson Jackson.
On Nov. 9, 1946, he married Evelyn Stinnet in Memphis, Term. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jim of Augusta; daughter, Fran-cine Blunt of Wichita; sisters, Frances Gunter of West Plains, Mo., Tina Moser of Halstead, Louise Lau of Los Lunas, N.M.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Joyce K. Minton, preceded him in death.
Jackson had served in the military during World War II.
