Glenn I. Rollings dies Wednesday
Glenn I. Rollings, 78, El Dorado, brother of Augusta resident Charles Rollings, died Wednesday, July 25, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Wichita.
Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 30, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery, El Dorado. A cremation will precede the service. He was born July 9, 1912, at Towanda to Minnie Metcalfe and Louis Rollings.
Rollingd had been an oil driller for White & Ellis Drilling Co. of El Dorado.
Rollings was a member of Amvet and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the Army during World War II.
He married Nadine Samns in Bentonville, Ark. She preceded him in death in 1986.
He also leaves two sisters, Geneva Owen and Hazel Stack-ley, both of El Dorado; and several neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Kravitz.
A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association.
Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado, is in charge of arrangements.

Delmar E. Prichard funeral tomorrow
Delmar Eugene Prichard, 62, Douglass, died July 27 at his home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at the First Baptist Church in Douglass. Burial will be in Douglass Cemetery.
He was born April 13, 1928 in Landon.
On May 19, 1947, he married Patricia French in Wichita.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Michael and Randy of Douglass, Greg of Joshua, Texas; seven daughters, Cynthia rose of Rock, Sandra Baum of Douglass, Elizabeth Cummings of Titusville, Fla., Pamala Barnes of Winfield, Annette Spence of Douglass, Sheila Smith of Rock, and Melinda Prichard of the home; six brothers, G.L. of Wichita,
Ceryle of Texarkana, Ark., Harry of Christmas Valley, Ore., Bob .Claude and Garry of Hutchison; three sisters, Peggy Evans of Michigan, Katherine Caudillo of Hutchison, Faith Ann Holm of Arkansas; 37 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home of Douglass is in charge of
arrangements.

James Albert Ross, 57, Moran, brother of Augusta resident Doris McCollum, died Tuesday, July 31.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Moran United Methodist Church and 11:15 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery, rural Mildred.
Other survivors include wife, Diana; son, Frank of Portland, Ore.; daughter, Dorothy of California; stepsons, Carl Knight, address unknown, Raymond and Paul Knight, both of Moran, Timothy Knight of Oroville, Wash.; stepdaughter, Donna Barker, Linda Cady, both of Moran, Wendy Thompson of Bayard; mother, Zaida of Moran; brother, Russell of Iola, Lawrence of Mario, Okla., Paul of Indianapolis, Ind., Gale of Allen, Texas; sisters, Lois Kershner, Helen Smith, both of Moran, Marjorie Logsdon of Winfield, Verl of Allen; and 15 grandchildren.
A memorial has been estab-ished with the Fort Scott Area Hospice.

John ‘Lee’ Dutton funeral tomorrow
John “Lee” Dutton, 70, Maize, father of Augusta resident Diane Montgomery, died Sunday, July 29.
Other Augusta survivors include a brother, Charles Dutton, and a sister, Phyllis Patteson.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Cochran Mortuary in Wichita.
Other survivors include his wife, Maxine; son, Gary of Valley Center, mother, Leona of Maize; brothers, Rex of Arlington, Texas, Paul of Maize, Dean of Fresno, Calif.; sisters, Jessie Pearl Ford of Howard, Barbara Walter of Wichita; and two grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
Kenneth Plummer services pending
Kenneth Plummer, 58, Augusta, died Monday, July 30, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Services, are pending at Dunsford Funeral Home.
