Ruth Naomi Koester funeral Monday
Ruth Naomi Koester, 71, Harlingen, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 13, at Valley Baptist Hospital, Harlingen.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Dunsford Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Kieler officiating
and burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
Koester was born May 11, 1919, in Gerlane to Kate (Springer) and Ray Rozzelle.
On Oct. 12, 1939, she maried Melvin Koester in Wichita. He survives.
Other survivors include daughter, Jan Rennee Bland of Austin, Texas; sister, Judith Gibson of Tonkawa, Okla.;
two grandchildren, Eric and Ryan Bland of Austin.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Wayne Koester, who died in 1948.
Koester belonged to the Augusta United Methodist Church and was a retired beautician.
A memorial has been established with the First United Methodist Church.

Margaret H. Seaman services Friday

Margaret Helen Seaman, 74, Augusta, died Monday, Sept. 17, in Hugoton.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at St James Catholic Church, the Father James Billinger officiating.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Dunsford Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Seaman was born April 30, 1916, in Augusta to Ella Ruth Dobbins and Michael Patrick Corcoran.
On Nov. 20,1937, she married A.Z. Seaman in Augusta. He preceded her in death in 1979.
Survivors include son Kevin, of Hugoton; brothers, Harold Corcoran of Paris, Calif.,
Jack Corcoran of Neosho, Mo.; sister, Madyln Hamm of Wichita;
two grandchildren, Christopher and Robyn Seaman of Hugoton.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dean Corcoran.
Seaman was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary an the St. James Altar Society.
Sister of Augustan dies Sunday, Sept. 16

Retired Boeing Wichita cashier Mary Pauls, 74, Wichita, died Sunday, Sept. 16.
Pauls is the sister of Laura Por-teous of Augusta.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Other survivors include daughter, Beverly Hines of Wichita; sisters, Erma Bonham of Wichita,
Emma Schultz of Hutchinson, Rose Funk of El Monte, Calif.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Joe T. Murphy dies Friday

Retired painting contractor Joe T. Murphy, 81, Howard, died Friday, Sept. 14.
He is the father of Augusta resident Evelyn Milligan.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard.
Other survivors include sons, Bill of Howard, Bob of Hugoton,
David and Ricky, both of Wichita; daughters, Betty Adsmond of Leon, Margie Bradley of Wichita,
Jodene Wray of Waterloo, Iowa, Nellie Selleck of Wash-bum, Mo.; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established with the American Heart Association.

Kevin Stich dies today in Wichita

Kevin Stich, 26, Latham, died today at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Church, Father James Billinger officiating.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. Friday at Dunsford Funeral Home.
Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Chanute Cemetery.
Stich was born July 31,1964, in Wichita to Donna Record and Gerald Stich. They survive.
Other surivors include brother, Richard, of Wichita; sister, Teresa Gegg of St. Geneva, Mo.;
grandmother, Esther Stich of Chanute.
Stich was preceded in death by a brother, Alan.
Stich belonged to the New Horizons 4-H Club and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He was a department store purchasing department employee.
A memorial has been, established with the Butler County Hospice Association.
