Clarence A. Hegdahl
Retired Parks Body Shop painter Clarence A. Hegdahl, 78, Augusta, died Saturday, Feb. 23.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Lake-view Funeral Home, Wichita.
Hegdahl was born Mary 10, 1912, in Howard, S.D.
On Oct., 25, 1945, he married Rosella Moeller in Howard, S.D. She survives.
Other survivors include a niece, Virginia Spillman of Augusta; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
Velma A. Prock
Homemaker Velma A. Prock, 78, Valley Center, died Friday, Feb. 22. She is the sister of Augusta resident Vemie Hiner.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church, Valley Center.
Other survivors include a son, Frederick Nutter of Visalia, Calif.; sisters, Lucy Courtney of Valley Center, Harriet Todd of Wichita, Eldine Shaw of Valley Center; three grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Assembly of God Church Building Fund.
Nutter Mortuary, Valley Center, is in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Mueller
Homemaker Dorothy Mueller, 70, Wichita, died Sunday, Feb. 24. Her parents had owned Carr’s Drug Store in the 1930s and 1940s in Augusta.
Funeral services were today at Quiring-Qld Mission Mortuary.
Survivors include sons, Michael A., Kenneth Kimbell, both of Wichita, Keck C. Kimbell of Houston, Texas; daughters, Linda A. Remington of Wichita, Saundra L. Cook of Chicago, ILL.; sisters, Doris Turner of El Dorado, Jane Buck of Houston; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas Elks Training Center.
Isabell Smith
Isabell Smith, 76, Hominy, Okla., died Saturday, Feb. 23. She has a many of local relatives.
Funeral services were Monday at the Baptist Church in Hominy.
Survivors include Augusta area residents, stepdaughters, Pensy Kirch and Betty Lipscomb; grandchildren, Connie Hasting and John Watkins; greatgrandchildren, Mike, David & Julie Hasting and John & James Watkins^

Veora Losey
Retired Beech Aircraft employee Veora Viola Losey, 84, El Dorado, died Monday, Feb. 25, at the El Dorado Nursing Center. She was a former Augusta resident.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, at the Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery, El Dorado.
Losey was born Jan. 22,1907, in Taberville, Mo., to Alta Lee (Smith) and John Wesley Rinker.
On June 15, 1926, she married Jesse Morlan Losey in Fort Scott. He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1968.
Survivors include daughters, Darlene Bowes of Old Say book, Conn., Winona Randall of Augusta; sisters, Velda Viergey-er of Topeka; a half-sister, Edna Hulett of Marion; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the El Dorado Nursing Center, 900 Country Club Lane, El Dorado, Kan. 67042.
Donald Phipps
District manager for M & M Feed Co. Donald Jack Phipps, 59, rural Augusta, died Saturday, Feb. 23, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital, El Dorado.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta, the Rev. Michael Omundson officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Phipps was born March 29, 1931, in Cedar County, Mo., to Irene (Harris) and T.R. Phipps.
On Dec. 31, 1957, he married Ruth Orindgreff. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Shelly Peck of Willard, Mo.; brothers, Jerry Wayne of Wichita, Stanley of El Dorado Springs, Mo; a granddaughter, Ashley Bums of Willard, Mo.
A memorial has been established with the Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
