Veora Losey
Retired Beech Aircraft employee Veora Viola Losey, 84, El Dorado,
died Monday, Feb. 25, at the El Dorado Nursing Center. She was a former Augusta resident
Funeral services have been changed to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at the Dunsford Funeral Home,
Augusta. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery, El Dorado.
Losey was born Jan. 22, 1907, in Taberville, Mo., to Alta Lee (Smith) and John Wesley Rinker.
On June 15,1926, she married Jesse Morlan Losey in Fort Scott. He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1968.
Survivors include daughters, Darlene Bowes of Old Saybook, Conn., Winona Randall of Augusta;
sisters, Velda Viergey-er of Topeka; a half-sister, Edna Hulett of Marion;
eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a sister, Dolores Louise Rinker; and four brothers.
A memorial has been established with the El Dorado Nursing Center, 900 Country Club Lane, El Dorado, Kan. 67042.
Merle D. Voth
Boeing Wichita engineer Merle D. Voth, 58, Augusta, died Friday, Feb. 22.
Funeral services were today at the Goessel Cemetery and at the Goessel Mennonite Church.
Survivors include his wife, Terry; sons, Jerry of Concord, N.H., Jack of Naples, Fla.;
daughters, Jane Palisi, Julie Percy, both of Bow, N.H.;
father and stepmother, Alvin and Vivian of Goessel; brother, Clifford of Goessel;
sister, Elda of Aberdeen, Idaho; five grandchildren.
Miller Funeral Home, Goessel, is in charge of arrangements.

Mary F. Carr
Homemaker Mary F. Carr, 82, Wichita, died Tuesday, Feb. 19.
She was the sister of Augusta residents Wilfred Bolman and LaVina Grimm.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Cochran Mortuary, Wichita.
Other survivors include sons, Mitchell and Charles, both of Wichita;
six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established with the West Side Christian Church.

Milton Mills
Milton Mills, 53, Wichita, died Wednesday night at HCA Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Funeral services are pending with Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta.
Ralph Sapp
Ralph Richard (Dick) Sapp died Sunday, Feb. 24, in California.
He is survived by cousins in this area.
His funeral service will be 9 a.m. Friday, March 1, at the
Oakdale Funeral Home in Glendom, Calif.
Sapp is a graduate of Augusta High School and attended Wichita State University.
He worked for the millwright union.
In addition to the cousins, he leaves a wife, Doris;
two sons Craig and Michael; a daughter, Debra;
two brothers, Bill Sapp and Bob Sapp, and nine grandchildren.
