Dorothy Moore

Homemaker Dorothy May Moore, 79, Wichita, died Monday, April 8.
She is the sister of Towanda resident Freddie Star.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at teh Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints —
First Ward, Wichita.
Other survivors include a son, Seth Cawthra of Tukwila, Wash.;
a sister, Louise Thiele of Park City;
nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Cochran Mortuary, Wichita, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial services

Memorial services tor former Augusta Methodist Church minister Clarence Hamm, 93, Sun City, Ariz.,
will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Kinsley United Methodist Church, Kinsley.
Hamm died in early March.

Thelma I. Mettlen

Thelma I. Mettlen, 81, Hutchinson, sister of Augusta resident Robert E. Peck, died Tuesdsay, April 9,
She was a retired employee of Jackson’s Ice Cream Co.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Survivors include a daughter, Jenese A. Furstenberg of Haven; brother, Jack E. Peck of Rogers, Ark.;
sisters, May Shire of Kingsberg, Calif., Sara Bower-man of McAlester, Okla.;
five grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren.

Venita Marker

Venita Marker, Ellinwood, sister-in-law of Ruby Raiguel of Augusta, died Sunday, April 7.
Her funeral service will be tomorrow in Ellinwood.
