Doris McCollum
Beech Aircraft Corp. quality control statistician Doris E. McCollum, 60, Augusta, died Wednesday, March 27.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 29, at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Survivors include her husband, Shelby; mother, Zaida Ross of Moran; daughter, Jennifer at home;
brothers, Lawrence Ross of Marlow, Okla., Russell' Ross of Iola, Paul Ross of Anapolis, Ind,
Gale Ross of Allen, Texas; sisters, Helen Smith, Lois Kershner, both of Moran,
Marjorie Logsdon of Winfield, Verl Ross of Allen, Texas.
A memorial has been established fished with Hospice Inc.

David Whitney
Farmer and carpenter David T. Whitney, 74, Douglass, died Saturday, March 30.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Douglass United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Medrith; daughters, Beth Strothman of Wellington, Mary Klabzuba of Wichita;
sister, Flava Woods of Mulvane; five grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the Douglass United Methodist Church and the American Cancer Society.
Miles-Wheeler Memorial Chapel, Winfield, is in charge of arrangements.
Herman Moege
Former Augustan resident Herman Robert Moege, 80, Yates Center, died Tuesday, March 26, at home.
He was a retired Boeing Wichita employee.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. Friday, March 29, at Blankenship Cemetery, rural Rosalia,
the Rev. Lilie Jane Dametz officiating.
Moege was born May 7,1910, in Butler County to Anna Yaege and Herman J. Moege.
On Dec. 24, 1931, he married Violet C. Nickolas in Butler County. She preceded him in death in 1988.
Survivor is his brother, Carl of Jetmore.
Also preceding him in death were a son, Bob; five brothers; and two sisters.
Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta, is in charge of arrangements.

Shane Sanchez funeral will be Wednesday
Bluestem High School student Shane A. Sanchez-Wonser, 16, Leon, died Sunday, March 31.
His funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in the Bluestem High School auditorium
with Rev. Brad Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Leon Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 12, 1974 in Wichita.
Shane was a sophomore at Bluestem High at the time of his death.
He was a Boy Scout and participated in football, wrestling, and track at school.
Survivors include Joe and Star Wonser of Leon, a brother, Shawn Sanchez;
a sister, Lena Sanchez; a step-sister, Shelly Wonser of Rosalia;
grandparents, Marvin and Marjorie Casort of Wichita, and Don and Nancy Wonser of Leon.
Memorials to the Bluestem High School athletic department are suggested.
The Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.
