Cauthron funeral Tuesday

Retired car salesman Robert C. “Jake” Cauthron, 72, Augusta,
died Sunday, April 28, at HCA Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Augusta, the Rev. Robert Box officiating.
Internment will be in Elmwood - Cemetery.
Jake and his wife, Willene (Bryant), Cauthron, came to Augusta from Booneville, Ark.,
following his discharge from the military after World War II, in 1946.
He was employed by Parks Motor Company for 37 years and retired in 1982.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Foster, of Booneville,
and by his parents, Winfield and Terry Cauthron.
Survivors include his wife, Willene; brothers, Doug of Augusta, Wayne of Granada Hills, Calif.,
Bill of Booneville, Ark.; sisters, Fannie Parks of Augusta, Merle Partain of Grenada Hills,
Lois Fischer, Helen Couvillion, both of Fort Smith, Ark.
A memorial has been established with the First Baptist Church of Augusta.
Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Jacobs

Retired Boeing Wichita supervisor Robert Charles Jacobs, 69, Augusta, died Friday, April 26.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta.
Survivors include his wife, Reba; daughters, Judy Louise Jackson of Augusta,
Patricia Ann Bruce of Phoenix, Bobbie Charlene Westwick of Frankfurt, Germany;
six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Assocation.

Vernie Henderson

Retired Cessna Aircraft Co. employee Vernie L. Henderson, 74, Harrison, Ark., died Thursday, April 25.
He is the father of Juin Henderson of Towanda.
Funeral services were today.
Other survivors include his wife, Valede; daughters, Sheila Shriver of Wichita, Nina of Harrison;
brothers, Archie of Wayton, Ark., Paul of Alpena, Ark., Wiliam of Jasper, Ark.;
sisters, Isabelle Daniels of Essex, Mo., Beulah Hampton of Lilboum, Mo., Delilah Wilson of Seneca, Mo.;
Norma Edgmon of Mossville, Ark., Lura of Wayton;
six grand children; 10 great grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the North Arkansas Medical Center Claude Parish
Radiation Therapy Institute.
Christeson Funeral Home, Jasper, Ark., is in charge of arrangements.
