Colleen L. Cheney
Homemaker Colleen L. Cheney, 80, Leon, died Sunday, May
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday at the Leon Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Howard; son, Charles of Eureka;
daughter, Sue Jaquay of Prineville, Ore.; brother, Dave Bailey of Bennington;
three grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Union Rescue Mission, Wichita.
Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado, is in charge of arrangements.
Jack Fistler Sr.
Sheet metal mechanic Jack Eugene Fistler, 60, Towanda, died Monday, May 6.
There will be no funeral service.
Survivors include his wife, Billie J.; sons, Jack E. Jr. of McPherson, Danny L. of Towanda;
daughters, Peggy J. Jaquis of Newton, Linda K. Wilson of Wichita; brother, Clyde of Mason City, Iowa;
14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Wichita Police Department captain Michael Ray Jones, 38, Wichita, died Friday, May 10.
He is the brother of Douglass resident Stanley Joe Jones.
Funeral services were today at Bethel Baptist Church, Wichita.
Other survivors include his wife, Cynthia; parents, Harry and Velma of Wichita;
grandmother, Rosia of Strawn, Texas.
A memorial has been established with Shrine Plane of Mercy.
Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita, is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond Baker
Retired Mobil Oil Co. employee Raymond Arthur Baker, 70, Wichita, died Saturday, May 11,
at St. Francis Medical Center,’ Wichita. He is the brother of Augusta resident Marion Baker.
Rosary will be read at 7:30 p.m. today at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta,
with Father Robert Kocur and Father Mike Baldwin officiating.
Baker was born March 23, 1921, in Rosalia to Vinita (Nicholas) and Ed Baker.
On April 20, 1940, he married Louise Lipscomb in El Dorado.
Baker served during World War II in the U.S. Navy and was a member
of the St. James Catholic Church and the Elks Club of Augusta.
Other survivors include his wife, Louise; sons, Don, Joe, Charles, all of Andover, Greg of Little Rock, Ark.;
daughters, Peggy Razo of Wichita, Maureen Holtzinger of Andover, Russell of El Dorado;
sister, Mildred Martin of Howard, Hazel Ilmian of Portland, Ore.;
11 grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Sl Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Building Fund, Andover.

Lemoine Wimberly, 66, El Dorado, father of Gayla Goldsmith and Carol Waltman of Augusta,
died Monday, May 13, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Burial will be in the Towanda Cemetery for this World War II army veteran.
He married June 2, 1946. Wimberly was a retired Texaco employee.
Other survivors include his wife, Jo; daughters, Karma Starkel and Jamie Griggs, both of El Dorado;
brothers, James of Wellington, Norman of Whitesboro, Texas; sisters, Iris Booth of Kansas City, Kan.,
Laura Weber of Newton;
11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Bradford Memorial Library.
Richard Wheeler
Richard Taylor Wheeler, 59, Mount Hope, father of Scott Wheeler of Augusta, died Monday, May 13,
at HCA Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Mount Hope.
Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
He was bom Feb. 28, 1932 at Emporia. Wheeler was an employee of Cessna Aircraft Co.
Survivors include his wife, Judith; son, Tracey of Wichita; daughters, Belinda Atha of El Dorado;
sister, Rose Mary Smith of Morino Valley, Calif.;
three grandchildren,
Wulf-Ast Mortuary, Mount Hope is in, charge of arrangements.
