F.E. Snell Dies At 70
Florence Elsie Snell, 70, Belleville, formerly of Douglass, died Oct. 11 at Belle View Manor in Belleville.
Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Douglass Cemetery. Rev. John Martin will officiate.
She was born Nov. 7, 1911 in Kansas City, Ks., to George C. and Mabel Bunn Snell.
A sister-in-law, Mrs. Gerald Snell, of Prescott, Ariz., survives.
Guyot Dies In Accident
Francis Guyot, 67, Elk City, died Monday in farming accident in Oak Valley.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass. Burial will be in the Douglass Cemetery.
He was born April 26, 1915 in Douglass to Walter A. and Edna Lee Timbers Guyot.
He married Irene Marie Jones Feb. 29, 1936 in Newkirk, Okla. She survives.
He was a rancher and oil field driller.
They lived in Douglass before moving to Elk City 25 years ago.
Other survivors include a son, Walter Eugene Guyot, Cortez Colo.; a daughter, Cynthia Joan Weaver of Coffeyville.; a sister, Ova Sylvia Heckathorne of Linden; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Another daughter, Karen Kay Guyot, died in 1969.
Pearl Taylor Dies At 60
Pearl Taylor, 60, Augusta, died Monday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Cumberland Little Walnut Cemetery in Gordon. Rev. John Martin will officiate.
He was born Oct. 6, 1922 in Elk City to Albert and Nettie Apple Taylor.
He married Mary Halstead. She survives.
He was a laborer.
A half-brother, John Fetterolf of Wichita, also survives.

Marion French Died At AMCI
Marion Thomas French, Potwin, brother of Augustans Mary Watson and Dean Welch, died today at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Arrangements were pending early this afternoon at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

French Rites Held Today
A graveside service was held today for Marion Thomas French, 69, Potwin, who died Friday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Rev. Burl Allison Jr. officiated at the afternoon burial service in Elmwood Cemetery.
French was born Mary 14, 1913 in Wichita as a son of Mason and Thursay Snyder French. He was a farm laborer
He leaves a son, Dan French of Wichita; a daughter, Connie Gray of Enumclaw, Wash.; a brother, Delbert of McPherson; six sisters, Mary Watson and Dean Welch, both of Augusta, Pat Pritchard of Douglass, Jennie Barker of Missouri, Elma Good and Rosie Dingman, both of Wichita, and five grandchildren.
Private Rites For J. Malone
Private services will be held for John Malone of Andover who died Saturday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head.
Services will be at the Lakeview Mortuary in Wichita.
Malone was a former disc jockey for KKRD and KEYN-FM in Wichita. He used the professional name of Jim Kelly.
Butler County sheriff's officers found Malone in his Andover home around 3:30 p.m.
