Waldo Jones

Retired Boeing wichita employee Waldo Jones, 78, Douglass, died Monday, June 10.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at the United Methodist Church in Rock
He was born Jan. 13, 1913 in Manchester, Okla., as a son of Jessie and Ida Florence Jeffries Jones.
On May 19, 1934, he married the former Mildred Frances Conner in a ceremony at Anthony. She surives.
He retired from Boeing Aircraft in 1971 with 25 years of service.
Other survivors include sons, Gary of Reno, Nev., Mike of Wichita, Lyle of Douglass;
daughter, Judith Walton of Melbourne, Fla.; sister, Hazel Connory of Longmont, Colo.;
10 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the Douglass Public Library and Douglass Senior Citizens Center.
Miles-Wheeler Memorial Chapel, Winfield, is in charge of arrangements.

Mabel Findley

Homemaker Mabel Vera Findley, 90, Winfield, died Saturday, June 8.
She is the mother of Jack Findley of Douglass.
Funeral services were today at Grace United Methodist Church, Winfield.
Other survivors include her husband, Dennie; sons, Virgil of Moore, Okla., A1 of Winfield;
daughters, Dora Burris, Jenny Powell, both of Winfield; brother, Walter Henry of Poplarville, Miss.;
16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Grace United Methodist Church, Winfield,
and the American Diabetes Association.

James Kenyon

Retired Gulf Oil Co. pumper James L. Kenyon, 84, Augusta, died Tuesday, June 11.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Survivors include his wife Lillie; daughters, Kay K. Shiner of McLean, Va., Jule K. Jewell of Wichita;
stepdaughter, Betty White of Shobonier, ILL.;
six grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.

Russell Love

Russell Neil Love, 33, died Wednesday, June 5. He is the son of Ramonda Love of Augusta
and the brother of Tony Love of Augusta.
The funeral service was Monday, June 10, at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Love was born Aug. 28,1957 in Wichita.
He was a cook at Longneckers restaurant in Wichita and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Augusta.
Survivors include his father, William Love of Longton; brothers James Love of Sparks, Nev.,
and Steve Love of Longton; sisters, Linda Dieter of El Dorado and Jodi Harker of Mannford, Okla.;
and half-brothers Billy Love and Joe Love, both of Longton.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Cox, and special friend, Cliff Cox.
Memorials have been established with the Bradford Memorial Library in El Dorado
and the Cancer Research Unit at Kansas State University in Manhattan.
Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado, is in charge of arrangements.

David McDaniel

Retired rancher David L. McDaniel, 52, El Dorado, died Thursday, June 13.
He is the brother of Augusta residents Dale McDaniel and Ramona Rowland.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka.
Other survivors include his wife, Farrell; son, Denny of Rosalia;
brothers, Marvin and Paul, both of Florida; sister, Martha Belt of Texas.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado, is in charge of arrangements.

Okla Delena Scott

Okla Delena Scott, 89, Bartlesville, Okla., died Thursday after a short illness.
She is a former Augusta resident and was the grandmother of Dennis Cox of Augusta.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 17, at Caney.
Scott was born May 9, 1902, and was a native of Indian Territory in Oklahoma.
She was the daughter of William and Etta Sue Edwards.
As a young woman, she attended school in Copan, Okla.
On Nov. 7, 1920, she married Paul Hale Scott. He preceded her in death in March 1956.
Also preceding her in death were brothers Ray and Carl Edwards.
Scott was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Preston Scott of Bartlesville; a daughter, Darlene Frazier of Belle Vista, Ark.;
two sisters, six grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren.
