Geneva Owen
Geneva May (Rollings) Owen, 73, a retired Cessna sheet metal worker from Wichita, died Friday, July 19.
Owen is the brother of Charles Rollings of Augusta.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita.
Owen was born on Dec. 5, 1917 to Lewis Rollings and Minnie Metcalf.
Owen also leaves sons Jerry Lee and Michael Deryl, both of Wichita; sister Hazel Stackley of El Dorado;
12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceeded in death by her daughter Celia Dodson and a son, Rodney Craig.
A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc., Box 3267, Wichita, Kansas, 67201.

H.E. “Ed” Guest, 66, Grove, Okla., died Tuesday, July 23. He is the brother of Augusta resident Jane Fennell.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church, Grove.
Other survivors include two daughters, Sue George of Corona, Calif., Sharry Drumright of Wagoner, Okla.;
two brothers, Bill Guest of Wichita, Jack Guest of Santa Ana, Calif.;
a sister, Jean Porter of Santa Ana, Calif.;
eight grandchildren; one greatgrandchild.
Sherman Funeral Home, Grove, is in charge of arrangements.

Dwight Boucher
Former service station operator in Augusta Dwight Marion Boucher, 87, Moreno Valley, Calif.,
died Wednesday, July 24, at Riverside, Calif.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta.
Bunal will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. . .
Mr. Boucher will lie in state Monday at the funeral home.
He was born May 27,1904, in El Dorado to Bird Griffith and Henry Ellsworth Boucher.
On Aug. 26,1922, he married Marjorie Pierce in El Dorado. She survives.
Other survivors include sons, Bob of Douglass, Clifford of Austin, Texas, Gilbert of Arvada, Colo.,
Dale of Coniver, Colo.; daughters, Glennis Allison of Riverside, Calif., Glenna Roberts of Fountain Valley, Calif.;
sisters, Marie Ingold of Augusta, Gertrude Parks of Eureka; 17 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society or the donor’s choice.

Ida Beye
Homemaker Ida May Beye, 84, rural Augusta, died Sunday, July 28, at her home.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dunsford Funeral Home, Augusta,
with the Rev. Michael Omundson officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Beye was born Aug. 15, 1906, in Douglass to Dora (Landis) and Samuel Briles.
On April 8, 1925, she married Leo Beye in El Dorado. He survives.
Other survivors include sons, Bill of Hill City, Don of Pittsburg; daughter, Valetia Arnold of Augusta;
11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
A memorial has been established with the Alzheimers Foundation.
Mercedes Cotey
Homemaker Mercedes M. Cotey, 78, Augusta, died Thursday, July 25.
Services are pending with Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Survivors include her daughter, Sally Raehpour of Augusta; stepson, John W. Cotey of Durand, ILL.;
sister, Ruth Kutchery of Wausau, Wis.; three grandchildren.
Mary Blaisdell
Elementary school teacher Mary L. Blaisdell, 45, El Dorado, died Saturday, July 27.
She is the sister of James Warren of Augusta.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Other survivors include her husband, Larry; sons, Bill and Ben, both of El Dorado; brothers,
Bill Warren of Piedmont, Walter Warren of Mulvane, Jerry Warren of Emporia;
sisters, Betty Squires, Phyllis Warren, both of El Dorado; two grandchildren.
