Sister Dies In Wichita
Elizabeth A. Weninger, 76, Oxford, sister of Leo and Herman Korte, both of Augusta, died Saturday, Oct. 23, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Her service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Winfield. Father Dinan will officiate and burial will be in the Colwich Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
She was born July 31, 1906 in Colwich to Herman and Mary Lubbers Korte.
She married Clarence Weninger Oct. 14, 1930 in Colwich. He preceded her in death July 12, 1974.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford and the St. Mary’s Altar Society.
Other survivors include sons, Dr. John Weninger of Wichita, Dr. Marvin Weninger of Knoxville, Tenn., and Ralph Weninger of Winfield; a daughter, Catherine Lampe of Kingman; another brother, Harold Korte of Colwich; sisters, Catherine Meyer of Clearwater, Adeline Jordan of Mount Hope, Theresa Pierce of Las Vegas, Nev.; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Helen Donlay Dies At 71
Helen A. Donlay, 71, Wichita, sister of Marvin Boswell of Augusta, died Sunday, Oct. 24, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Arkansas City. Morris and Darrell Boswell and David Howell will officiate
She was born March , 1911 in Dexter to William H. and Clara Virginia Holtby.
She married Jesse O. Donlay Jan. 1, 1929 in Newkirk, Okla. He survives.
She was a member of the United Brethern Church in Hackney.
Other survivors include sons, Gerald E. Donlay of Haysville, Clifford L. Donlay of Forsyth, Mo.; daughter, Donna Athearn of Winfield; brothers, Raymond Boswell of Arkansas City; sisters, Ethel Schifferdecker of Wellington and Wilma Hess of Topeka; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Rindt-Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Home in Arkansas City is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth Gray
Kenneth H. Grady, 60, son of Jennie Grady of Augusta, died Oct. 19 at Sebring, Fla. He was board chairman and chief executive officer of Barnett Bank of Highlands County, Fla.
The mother; sisters, Mrs. Hazel Gruver of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Anne Haaga, and niece, Kathy Haaga, both of Douglass, attended the funeral service.
In addition to relatives in this area, Grady also left his wife, Gloria, two daughters, three sons, a brother, two other sisters, and three grandchildren.
Grandson Dies
Jeri Wilson of Augusta was called to Richmond, Va., last Friday due to the death of her 12-year-old grandson. He died from injuries suffered in a gun accident. Mrs. Wilson will be returning home this weekend.
