Irene A. Turner
Irene A. Turner, 72, of rural Augusta died Dec. 5, ] 996, at her home.
Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta. Rev. Ron Keith will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Irene A. Ratcliff was born May 28, 1924, in Rosalia to Jesse and Mab.el (Allen) Ratcliff. She married Jack F. Turner March 5, 1940.
She lived most of her life in El Dorado and in the late 1960’s moved to Winfield. She moved from Winfield to Augusta.
Survivors include husband, Jack F. Tuner of Augusta; sons, Lloyd Tuner of Easley, S.C., Jack W. Turner of Coffeyville and Ron Turner of Augusta; daughters, Marilyn (Turner) Harrison of Augusta and Sandra Sisson of Winfield; sisters, Dorothy Perry of Augusta, Mildred Schnider of Phoenix, Ariz., Mickey Gamble of Wichita and Pat Mitchell of El Dorado; brothers, Jack Ratcliff of Augusta and Clegg Ratcliff of El Dorado; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-gfandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Albert Ray Clark.
A memorial has been established with Hospice, Inc., P.O. Box 3267, Wichita, KS. 67201-3627. M* 9-ft
Robert Kirkwood
Robert LeRoy Kirkwood, 73. of Augusta died dec. 8, 1996, at his home.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Christ Lutheran Church. Rev. William Childress will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Robert Kirkwood was born May 9, 1923 to George and Emma (Dammann) Kirkwood in Lake City, Minn.
He married Betty Watt Nov. 4, 1958, in Augusta.
He was a retired iron worker for local union 606. He served as a Marine during World War II in 5th Marine Division. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, VFW Post 8729, 5th Marine Division Association and Iwo Jima Survivors Association of Texas.
Survivors are wife, Betty Kirkwood of Augusta; daughters, Linda Burden of Augusta and Carol Wilson of Rose Hill; brothers, William Kirkwood of Phoenix, Ariz. and Charles Kirkwood of Lake City; sisters, Marcella Olmstead of Orange, Calif and Donna Kirtz of Lake City and 7 grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Christ Lutheran Church and Hospice, Inc. Contributions may be left with Dunsford Funeral Home.
Martha Kime
Martha Kime, 76, of Oklahoma City and formerly of Augusta died Nov. 27, 1996, in Oklahoma City.
Her graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Banstetter-Rosewood Funeral Home of Oklahoma City.
Martha was born May 15, 1920, in Tulsa, Okla, and grew up in Texas. She lived in Augusta from 1965 until 1990.
She married Robert W. Kime. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Survivors are daughter Brenda J. Ritchards of Mustang, Okla.; son Arthur W. Kime of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pansy L. Reiswig
Pansy L. Reiswig, 77, of Augusta died Dec. 13, 1996, at Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at First Baptist Church in Leon. Rev. Chester Bodenhamer will officiate. Burial will be in Leon Cemetery.
Pansy Wooten was born July 13, 1919, to William and Fern (Taft) Wooten in Leon.
She married Clarence Reiswig Oct. 14, 1940.
She was a homemaker and a member of Neoma Rebekah Lodge 566 since Aug. 14, 1939.
Survivors are husband, Clarence Reiswig of the home; son, Donald Reiswig of El Dorado; daughters, Linda Anderson of Leon, Barbara Little of Augusta and Pearl Harmon of Wichita; brother, Donald Wooten of Stilwell, Okla.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
