William Olson
William LeRoy Olson, 77, of Wichita and formerly of Augusta died Dec. 20, 1996, at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral service was Monday, Dec. 23, at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Vem Bowers officiated. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Olson was born May 11, 1919, to William and Bessie Lou (Clark) Olson in Augusta.
He married Helen R. Stauffer. He was a retired salesman for Spencer-Stafford Loadcraft in Augusta.
Survivors are wife, Helen R. Olson of the home; son, William R. Olson of Dodge City; daughter, Joan Branam of Mayetta; stepsons, Richard Stauffer of Algonquin, ILL. and Rob Stauffer of Sugarland, Texas; sister, Alice Marie Solberg of Philomath, Ore.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established with the National Organization of Rare Diseases. Contributions may be left with Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.

Ethel Ingold
Ethel Elizabeth Ingold, Augusta, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 1996, at Prairie Homestead in Wichita.
Her graveside service will be at l:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Elmwood Cemetery. Bill Shook will officiate the service.
Ethel Ziegler was born June 3, 1895, to John Frederick and Mary Elizabeth (Moore) Ziegler in Alma, Neb.
She married Ross Elam Ingold. She was a retired registered nurse.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Winnona A. Ingold of Richardson, Texas, and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 7, 1968, and by her son, Kenneth Ross Ingold.

Robert W. Pykiet
Robert Wayne “Bob” Pykiet, 58, of Towanda and formerly of Augusta died Dec. 13, 1996, in Wichita.
Relatives and friends may call until 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Dunsford Funeral Home.
His funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Trinity Episcopal Church in El Dorado. Father James M. Adams, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery, Allen.
Mr. Pykiet was born July 22, 1938, to A.B. and Edna (Worcester) Pykiet in Bushong.
He married Fran Bechtel Nov. 7, I960, in Danville, Calif.
He served in the Navy and was a quality engineer for Symbios Logic Inc. in Wichita.
He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Survivors are wife, Fran Pykiet of Towanda; daughter, Rhonda Ross of Ft. Collins, Colo.; father, A.B. Pykiet of Allen; sisters, Judy Bastman of Allen and Shirley Jackson of Kennewick, Wash, and one grandson, Christopher Ross of Ft. Collins, Colo.

Longtime Butler County realtor and civic leader Archie Leben, 71, died Tuesday, April 22, 1997 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
His funeral service will be II a.m. Friday, April 25, at the Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a fund selected by the .family has been suggested.
Mr. Leben was president of the Butler County Historical Society. He was founder and r president of the Bradford Memorial Library endowment j. association.

John G. Langley
John Glynn Langley, 79 of Talent, Ore., and formerly of Augusta died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1996, at his home.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at Eagle Point National Cemetery. His son, Pastor Tom Langley, officiated the ceremony.
John Langley was born April 15, 1917, in Delight, Ark.
He married Laura Lee Baker in 1944 in Wichita.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and owned Langley Antiques in Prospect, Ore., from 1969 until 1984.
Survivors are wife, Laura Lee Langley of Prospect; daughter, Nancy Putter of Visalia, Calif; sons, Larry Langley of Talent, Ore., James Langley of San Diego, Calif., William Langley of Pittsfield, Mass, and Tom Langley of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Ruby Mae Kuhns of Fort Branch, Ind.; 15 grandchildren and ll great-grandchildren.

Edna Deer was born Jan. 17, 1915, in Wichita to Sam and Mary Deer.
She married Elmer Srader and was a cook for Ballinger Catering before her retirement.
Survivors are husband, Elmer Srader of Augusta; sons Sidney Casteel of Augusta and Brace Casteel of Norton and three grandchildren .
