William N. McVay
William N. McVay, 83, of Augusta, died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997.
His graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Vem Bowers of First United Methodist Church will officiate.
He was born in Capron, Okla., to William N. and Hattie McVay.
He worked in the instrument department of Mobil Oil before his retirement.
Survivors are wife, Helen McVay of Augusta; brother, John McVay of Augusta and sisters, Delza Berner and Mary Wakefield of Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
