Florence Friend

Florence Friend, 92, Andover, died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at the Andover Health Care Center.
A private funeral service is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 21. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery here.
She was born April 16. 1905 in Thayer, Mo., as the daughter of Jimmy Bell and Catherine Huff Bell.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Friend leaves a daughter, Marie Parsons of Augusta, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.

Tina L. Moser

Augusta resident Tina L. Moser, 82, Halstead, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1997.
Her graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Moser leaves her husband, Neil, of the home; sons, R. Moser of Wichita and Robert N. Moser of Mesa, Ariz.; daughters, Loretta Janes of Halstead, and Sue Bright of Sedgwick; sister, Louise Lau of Los Lumas, N.M.; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Melvin Rowland
Melvin Titus Rowland, 75, rural Augusta, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1997 at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
He leaves his wife, Dorothy Rowland of the home; daughters, Lynda Gilder of Wichita and-Deborah Reed of St. John; a brother, Robert Rowland of Cape Corral, Fla.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials to the SCCS Home Health and Hospice have been suggested.
