Dorothy Brown
Dorothy Brown, 73, of Augusta died Wednesday, Sept.
3, 1997, at her home.
Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at Dunsford Chapel with Chaplain Ron Keith officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Dorothy Carr was born July 6, 1924, to James and Bertha (Stone) Carr.
She married Curtis Eugene Brown Feb. 27, 1940, in Mt. Vernon, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1973.
She was an electrical assembler at Cessna before her retirement.
Survivors are son, David Brown of Augusta; daughter, Virginia McGinnis of Augusta; brothers, Lester Carr and Howard Carr both of Boise, Idaho, Ralph Carr of Springfield, Mo., and Herschel
Carr of Galena, Mo.; sister, Ruth Smith of Galena, Mo.; seven grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Hospice Incorporated. Contributions may be sent through Dunsford Funeral Home.
