Cleo C. Stinnett
Cleo Clifton Stinnett, 86, of Augusta, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, at Augusta Medical Complex.
Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Dunsford Funeral Home.
His graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Harvey Coberley of Lakecrest Bible Baptist Church will officiate.
Cleo Clifton Stinnett was born Feb. 6, 1911, in Missouri to James and Millie (Cunningham) Stinnett.
He married Lillian L. Ohmart in September 1940 in El Dorado.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked in the maintenance department of the U.S. Post Office before his retirement.
Survivors are wife, Lillian Stinnett of Augusta and sister, Evelyn Jackson of Augusta.
